The Mirman School is using the Global Buddies model to integrate travel into a global citizenship curriculum in the classroom, the family, and around the world. Children are pen pals with South African Global Buddies, while families and teachers have joined Global Buddies trips. Mirman carries out a school-wide recycling program to help the local environment while raising funds for global issues.
