What I liked about Global Buddies was to have an opportunity to go to the University of the Western Cape and to learn how to choose career subjects.

Global Buddies has strengthened my faith in the future of South Africa. The trip made me more aware of the world outside of my life and gave me confidence in myself and my ability to interact and communicate with people who are different from me. Having been on this trip has made me a stronger and more aware person. Having friends across the earth makes me feel more connected to the world.

I loved to see all of the Global Buddies' wonderful faces. It was an honor and a privilege to return. I felt like I was visiting my cousins that I hadn't seen in a long time. I love them very much.

I enjoyed the tour around District Six because I learned how people were removed to Cape Flats.

I am always looking forward to seeing my old friends, but also to meeting some new people. They are warm and friendly in South Africa, and always love more buddies. In South Africa I feel so good.

To be at Robben Island it was a great experience because I know now how prisoners were treated and what food they were given depending on the skin colour.

Life is like racing except there is no competition. If you are not a good citizen you're at the back of the line, if you show good citizenship, you will win. If you join Global Buddies it's a clear shot to first place.

The Moyo restaurant in Stellenbosch was interesting and nice because of the different kinds of food.

Global Buddies was the trip of a life time! I enjoyed hanging out with all of the kids. Being with them impacted my life in a way that no other expierience has. I can't wait to go back!
